Role overview

Create appealing, consistent product displays and store layouts that help customers discover and purchase Melodica’s instruments, books and accessories. Translate brand and commercial priorities into practical visual standards across branches, balancing creativity with customer flow and store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review branch layouts and displays; identify changes that improve navigation, product visibility and customer engagement.
• Develop display concepts, product zoning and planograms suited to store formats, product sizes and customer shopping behaviour.
• Implement and refresh window, promotional and in-store displays in line with launches, campaigns and seasonal priorities.
• Coordinate with retail merchandising and store teams so displays reflect available stock, priority categories and relevant product combinations.
• Create clear visual merchandising guidelines covering signage, price visibility, display maintenance and presentation standards.
• Visit branches to install or review displays, coach store teams and follow up on compliance with agreed standards.
• Manage display materials and implementation plans within approved budgets; coordinate suppliers or contractors where required.
• Use store feedback and relevant sales results to refine displays; ensure layouts preserve safe access and practical product handling.

Experience and qualifications

• Visual merchandising experience in a relevant retail environment, with a portfolio of implemented displays and layouts.
• Experience handling varied product sizes and specialist or durable goods; instruments, electronics or lifestyle retail experience is advantageous.
• Ability to produce practical display plans and brief store teams clearly; familiarity with relevant design or planning tools.
• Willingness to travel across branches and support display installations around store operating needs.
