Visual Merchandiser Manager

Job Purpose:

As a Visual Merchandiser Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of professionals dedicated to inspiring customers to contribute positioning Index living mall as the first choice for home furnishings in order to maximise sales and long-term profitability.

Based on deep knowledge of people’s life at home and a high level of home furnishing competence my team and I present and communicate Index Living Mall offer in ways that make it attractive and activities throughout the store to distance us from the competition.

Maximise the impact of range presentation in order to convert visitors into satisfied customers and stimulate repeat visits by creating vitality in all areas of the store throughout the year. Drive revenue and growth through innovative solutions and excellent customer service

Work Closely with Trade team to support Store operation team to exceed sales targets using latest trends and designs and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage VM team to show ideas and solutions in many different styles, functions and price profiles to fit many individual tastes and to strengthen Index Living Mall as a brand.
• Lead the creative design efforts for Index Living Mall to ensure up-to-date Index Living Mall showroom thereby creating vitality throughout these areas which exceed our visitors’ expectations.
• Analyse visitor feedback and use these insights to improve the store experience of our visitors and convert them into satisfied customers.
• Collaborate with team members and colleagues to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy
• Participate in business development and marketing efforts
• Ensure the Design Team are up to date with current Trends and Styles.
• Mentor and provide creative direction to VM teams
• Actively participate in the recruitment and interviewing process for new employees.
• Understand the company's sales promotion plan to accurately explain it to customers and Designers.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure effective operations and coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years managerial experience preferable in a retail environment
• Thai and English Language a must
• Degree in Interior Design / Industrial design (Furniture)
• Passionate about Interior Design trend and furniture business.
• Relevant working experience in furniture field is preferred.
• Experience in creating and developing overall design concepts and formulating design presentation strategies
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong, persuasive communicator with excellent verbal presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex design concepts to clients. Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Up to Date knowledge of Trends and Styles
• Business and commercial Acumen
• Experience leading, engaging, inspiring, developing and motivating a team
• Computer literate, able to utilise all Microsoft packages (word, excel, Powerpoint and outlook) along with internal design program (will be trained internally) and external design program (eg, sketch up) and be capable of using Index Living Internal Systems
• Flexible and willing to be adaptable to changing circumstances
• Must be willing to travel as and when required, Driving licensed will be preferable.
