Visual Merchandiser - North Area

Main Function:

1. To create impactful visual displays and product merchandising that maintain brand integrity while delivering on our promise to exceed customers’ expectations.

2. To engage in promoting the image, visual display, and merchandise of the brand company.

Responsibilities:

• To conceptualize with creative and artistic concepts for in-store displays
• Plan and execute new item deliveries to ensure they are quickly placed, and all merchandise are represented on the floor.
• Development of design for in store decoration and update brand guidelines and assets across selling area, including but limited to window displays, in-store modules, and merchandise displays.
• Prepares computer-aided designs and artworks based on the overall brand direction.
• Create, plan, implement and manage seasonal merchandising presentations and lead new visual merchandising initiatives.
• Ensure visually appealing and brand appropriate displays are created and updated to drive sell through and maximize sales.
• Ensure lighting, fixtures and signage is accurate to highlight product, mannequins, and visual displays.
• To constantly conceptualize new and fresh store design ideas
• Assist with special projects as assigned by management and perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Interior Design, or a related field.

• With retail store experience, preferably in visual merchandising or store display.

• Knowledge of in-store displays, window displays, mannequins, fixtures, signage, and product presentation.

• Creative, artistic, and detail-oriented with strong visual and conceptual skills.

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or related design software is an advantage.

• Knowledge of retail and fashion trends.

• Good communication, planning, and organizational skills.

Willing to travel for store visits and be assigned to M+F Girbaud – North Area Stores.
