VISUAL MERCHANDISING DISPLAY EXECUTIVE

About the Role

The Visual Merchandiser Executive is responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining visual merchandising standards across retail stores. The role involves developing effective store displays, ensuring brand consistency, coordinating visual merchandising campaigns, and supporting new store openings, renovations, and seasonal launches to enhance customer experience and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute visual merchandising displays in line with brand guidelines, seasonal campaigns, and commercial objectives.
• Develop and implement product displays, mannequin styling, fixtures, promotional materials, and store layouts.
• Ensure consistent visual merchandising standards and brand identity are maintained across all retail stores.
• Conduct regular store visits and visual audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with VM standards.
• Coordinate and execute visual merchandising requirements for promotional campaigns, product launches, seasonal changes, and store events.
• Prepare and install promotional materials including posters, banners, POP materials, signage, and other in-store communication.
• Lead visual merchandising setup for new store openings, including layout planning, product arrangement, mannequin styling, and visual installation.
• Coordinate visual requirements for store renovations, relocations, and seasonal floor refresh projects.
• Work closely with Retail, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure effective execution of visual merchandising initiatives.
• Develop simple artwork, posters, and visual materials using design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Monitor and ensure timely implementation of VM guidelines and campaign materials across stores.
• Prepare visual merchandising reports, store visit reports, campaign execution reports, and recommendations for improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to junior VM team members and store personnel on visual merchandising standards and execution.
• Monitor current retail, fashion, and visual merchandising trends and incorporate relevant ideas into store displays.

About You

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Fashion, Interior Design, Fine Arts, Visual Merchandising, Retail Merchandising, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in visual merchandising, retail, fashion, or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles, store layouts, product presentation, colour coordination, and brand standards.
• Strong eye for colour, composition, styling, layout, and current fashion/retail trends.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
• Ability to independently plan and execute visual merchandising projects across multiple retail stores.
• Willingness to travel to retail outlets and work flexible hours, including early mornings or late nights for major seasonal floor changes and store projects.
• Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially minded.
• Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision and brand integrity.
• Adaptable and able to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
