Visual Merchandising Supervisor

＜SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE＞

Onitsuka Tiger Company was established as an in-house company under ASICS Corporation on 2018/Oct/1st. Likewise, Onitsuka Tiger is an in-house company under the legal entity ASICS. We are on a mission to drive and expand Onitsuka Tiger’s global business and become the most iconic premium lifestyle brand. As we are establishing a strong organization to expand our business in Onitsuka Tiger, we require a Senior VM Executive to proactively participate in this activity.

The position aims to support and drive visual excellence in retail environments through execution of HQ VM strategy and continuous improvement of in-store presentation and experience.

＜DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES＞

Store VMD

• Arrange monthly VMD installations

• Prepare monthly VMD calendar and responsible for store update base on guidelines from OHQ

• Communicate with contractor for VMD props/ visual setup & provide installation guide

• Material sourcing and coordinate with suppliers for the ordering and producing of all VM materials

• Support all event design and layout creation and VM plan

• Assist in arranging display installation/ dismantle

• Prepare all VM proposals for OHQ approval

• Work closely with marketing and retail team to coordinate campaigns and ensure cohesive branding

• Train and support DTC staff on visual merchandising standards and techniques to ensure consistent execution

• Provide and update all VM weekly reports, event reports and photos to OHQ

• Store visits to maintain good VM presentation

• Work closely with internal and landlords to arrange regular VMD installation base on guidelines from global

• Provide VMD display guideline for all DTC

• Handle shop requests for VM issue

Graphic design and video editing

• Support & responsible for the graphic design adjustment and artwork development for marketing team

• Simple video editing for DTC LED display monitor

＜DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE＞

• Diploma / Degree holder of Art or design related discipline

• 7 years visual merchandizing experience, especially from fashion retail is preferred

• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Visual design tools

• Creative mindset and able to work independently

• Handle ad hoc promotion requests from marketing team/ shopping malls to ensure all in-store promotion materials in alignment with overall promotion and sales strategies

• Handle ad hoc request as assigned
