About the Role

We are looking for a VLSI Trainer / Mentor with 1–2 years of practical experience to conduct online training sessions and mentor our interns.

The trainer will help learners build a strong foundation in VLSI design, digital electronics, HDL programming, semiconductor concepts, and the VLSI design flow, while developing practical skills through industry-oriented exercises and projects.

This is a flexible part-time opportunity requiring only 2 hours per week, making it suitable for VLSI engineers, semiconductor professionals, RTL designers, verification engineers, and industry practitioners who enjoy teaching and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 2 hours of online VLSI training per week.
• Explain VLSI concepts in a simple, practical, and engaging manner.
• Provide practical knowledge of:

• Semiconductor & CMOS Fundamentals
• Combinational & Sequential Circuits
• Verilog / SystemVerilog
• RTL Design
• VLSI Design Flow
• Simulation & Functional Verification
• FPGA Fundamentals
• Synthesis & Timing Concepts
• Static Timing Analysis (STA) Basics
• ASIC Design Fundamentals
• Physical Design Fundamentals
• Introduction to Verification & Testbench Development
• Guide learners through HDL coding exercises and practical VLSI projects.
• Demonstrate simulation, debugging, and verification workflows.
• Help learners understand the transition from RTL design to synthesis and implementation.
• Use practical examples and industry-oriented case studies.
• Review learner assignments and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Address learner questions and assist with technical problem-solving.
• Introduce learners to relevant VLSI tools, methodologies, and industry practices.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of practical experience in VLSI Design, RTL Design, Verification, FPGA, ASIC Design, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of digital electronics and VLSI fundamentals.
• Good knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog or equivalent HDL.
• Familiarity with RTL design and simulation tools.
• Understanding of ASIC/FPGA design flow is preferred.
• Knowledge of verification, synthesis, timing analysis, or physical design is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to beginners.
• Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience will be an advantage.
• Comfortable conducting online training sessions.

Compensation & Engagement

• Upto ₹400 per hour
• 2 hours per week
