VMC Operator

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor VMC (Vertical Machining Centre) machines.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and machining dimensions.
• Set and operate VMC machines as per production requirements.
• Perform tool setting, offset correction and tool changes.
• Check component dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
• Maintain required quality standards and production targets.
• Identify basic machine/tooling issues and report abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S, safety and quality procedures.
• Record production, rejection and inspection details.
• Follow work instructions and maintain machine cleanliness.

Skills Required

• Knowledge of VMC machine operation and CNC machining.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments.
• Basic understanding of G-code / M-code is preferred.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, inserts and tool offsets.
• Good discipline and willingness to work in shifts.

Pay: ₹15,156.48 - ₹29,951.24 per month
