JOB DESCRIPTION – VMC OPERATOR

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Job Responsibilities

• Operate CNC VMC machines efficiently as per production requirements.
• Set and operate VMC machines with Siemens control.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform tool setting, workpiece setting and tool offset corrections.
• Handle drilling, milling, pocketing, contouring and other machining operations.
• Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC programming and G-code/M-code.
• Perform in-process inspection using vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge and other measuring instruments.
• Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Identify machining issues and make necessary offset/tool corrections.
• Follow production schedules, quality standards and safety procedures.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and ensure proper tool and fixture handling.
• Coordinate with Tool Room, Production and Quality teams.

Required Skills

• Experience in VMC machine operation.
• Knowledge of Siemens CNC control.
• Basic CNC/VMC programming knowledge.
• Knowledge of Mastercam will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of machining components, mould components and Tool Room work.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Good knowledge of measuring instruments.
• Willingness to work in shifts and overtime when required.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma – Mechanical / Tool & Die / Production / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred Candidate

• 2–10 years of relevant VMC operating experience.
• Candidates with Tool Room / Mould manufacturing experience will be preferred.
• Candidates who can independently handle machine setting and machining operations are preferred.

Pay: ₹9,156.48 - ₹30,000.00 per month
