Position: VMC Programmer

Department: Production

Location: Surat

Reporting To: Production Manager

Experience: 3–6 Years

Qualification: B. Tech / Diploma – Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced VMC Programmer responsible for VMC programming, machine operation support, and ensuring accurate machining as per engineering drawings. The candidate should have good knowledge of AutoCAD drawings and the ability to interpret dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and modify VMC programs as per component drawings.
• Read and interpret AutoCAD/mechanical drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
• Set tools, work offsets and machining parameters.
• Operate and monitor VMC machines during production.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish of machined components.
• Perform first-piece inspection and make necessary program corrections.
• Coordinate with Design, Production and QC teams for machining requirements.
• Identify machining issues and optimize programs to reduce cycle time and rejection.
• Maintain proper records of programs, tools and machining parameters.
• Follow safety and quality standards during production.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of VMC programming and machining processes.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds and tooling selection.
• Ability to use Vernier, Micrometre and other measuring instruments.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of tolerances and basic GD&T.;
• Production-oriented approach with attention to detail.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
