We are looking for an experienced VMC Setter cum Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in VMC machine setting, operation, programming and precision component manufacturing.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate VMC machines, including tooling, fixtures and program loading.
• Perform machine setting and ensure proper tool and workpiece alignment.
• Operate VMC machines to manufacture precision components as per engineering drawings and specifications.
• Input, modify, adjust and optimize VMC programs for efficient machining.
• Perform 2D programming and troubleshoot program-related issues.
• Conduct in-process inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy of components.
• Use micrometers, gauges and other precision measuring instruments for inspection.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Perform routine machine checks and Daily Preventive Maintenance.
• Maintain production records, inspection reports and machine logs.
• Follow production schedules, quality standards and workplace safety procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong VMC machine setting skills.
• Good knowledge of Milling & Turning processes.
• Hands-on experience in VMC 2D programming.
• Knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens controls preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team.
