1. Job Purpose

To develop, modify, and optimize VMC programs to ensure accurate machining, quality output, and efficient production.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and modify CNC programs for VMC machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
• Perform manual G-code and M-code programming.
• Set tool offsets, work offsets, and machining parameters.
• Select suitable cutting tools and optimize machining cycles.
• Conduct program simulation, trial runs, and prove-out.
• Troubleshoot machining and programming errors.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve machining issues.
• Maintain program records and follow safety procedures.

3. Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification preferred.

4. Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in VMC programming and CNC machining.
• Experience with Fanuc / Siemens controllers preferred.
• Knowledge of CAM software such as Mastercam, PowerMill, or equivalent is an advantage.

5. Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of CNC programming, G-code, and M-code.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and production targets.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
