VMC Setter

Job Summary:

Responsible for setting up and operating Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) as per process requirements and drawings to produce precision components with high accuracy, surface finish, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up VMC machines according to production requirements.
• Load and verify CNC programs before production.
• Perform tool setting, tool changing, and tool offset corrections.
• Set workpiece zero (Work Offset) and verify machine alignment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets.
• Inspect first-off and in-process components using measuring instruments.
• Monitor machining operations to maintain product quality.
• Troubleshoot minor machines, tooling, and program-related issues.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
• Follow safety procedures and company quality standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Hands-on experience in Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi control systems.
• Strong understanding of fixture setup, tool selection, and machining parameters.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and G-code programs.
• Knowledge of basic measuring instruments and inspection methods.
• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.

• Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, Bore Gauge
• Basic troubleshooting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
