VMC Setter Cum Operator – Pattern Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced VMC Setter Cum Operator for Pattern Manufacturing and non-standard machining work. The candidate will be responsible for machine setting, operation, tooling selection, and machining of pattern components as per drawing and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate VMC machines for pattern manufacturing and development work.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, process sheets, and machining requirements.
• Perform job setting, tool setting, offset correction, and prove-out activities.
• Load, edit, and manage CNC programs when required.
• Machine pattern components with required dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of VMC machine setting and operation.
• Experience in pattern manufacturing and non-standard machining jobs.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Dial Gauge.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming and offset handling.
• Good understanding of machining parameters and cutting tools.
• Ability to independently handle development and customized jobs.

Educational Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering .

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience as VMC Setter Cum Operator in pattern manufacturing or machine shop environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
