VMC SETTER CUM PROGRAMMER

Location: Veerapandi, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

We are looking for a highly experienced VMC Setter cum Mastercam / SolidCAM Programmer with around 15 years of experience, preferably in aerospace component manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, set tools, and operate VMC machines for precision component manufacturing.
• Develop, simulate, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam or SolidCAM.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, 3D models, and GD&T requirements.
• Manufacture precision aerospace components with tight tolerances and excellent surface finish.
• Select cutting tools, fixtures, work-holding methods, and machining strategies.
• Perform first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy as per drawings.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize cycle time, tool life, and productivity.
• Maintain process documentation and follow quality and safety standards.
• Work closely with the quality and production teams to meet delivery schedules.

Candidate Requirements

• Approximately 15 years of hands-on experience in VMC setting and CNC programming.
• Strong proficiency in Mastercam or SolidCAM.
• Aerospace component machining experience is strongly preferred.
• Good knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, precision measurement instruments, and tight-tolerance machining.
• Ability to independently handle component setup, programming, prove-out, and production.
• Experience with aerospace quality requirements and traceability will be an advantage.
