VMware NSX Expert

NSX specialist wanted: build the network layer of an enterprise VMware platform | Remote-first, NRW (Germany)

F1Service is searching for an NSX expert for our client, an enterprise in the Bielefeld / Gütersloh region that is investing in its VMware infrastructure. You will shape the virtual network from the ground up: design it, put it in place and make sure the internal team can run it after you.

What's on your plate

• Designing, building and rolling out the NSX environment

• Defining segmentation concepts, including micro-segmentation, and putting them into practice

• Connecting NSX with the VMware infrastructure that is already in place

• Advising on routing, security and overall network design

• Running workshops and passing your knowledge on to the client's team

What makes you a fit

• Hands-on NSX delivery in enterprise projects

• Greenfield NSX rollouts or a major redesign of an existing NSX landscape

• Strong network design skills: routing, switching, firewalling

• Experience with virtual networking and security architecture

• Work for large corporations or groups (SME-only experience will not be enough here)

How the project runs

• Induction: December 2026, go-live: January 2027

• 6 months, extension possible

• From 2 days a week, ideally 3 to 5

• Predominantly remote, an on-site start in the region is welcome

• German C1+ and English B2+

• European candidates within ±2 hours of German time are welcome
