Vocal Instructor

Tuesday afternoon of in-person Vocal Singing Instruction with possibilities to expand schedule to other days.

Job Responsibilities:

• Instruct students one on one in private setting in the disciplines of Vocal studies
• Provide students with strong technical elements in their musical discipline of choice
• Encourage students to further their musical training in a positive manner
• Communicate with heads of The Studio about requests, timelines, and progress.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Music or equivalent experience within the field (can be enrolled in ongoing post-secondary classes)
• Ability to work a weekday starting in afternoon through evening
• Strong ability to instruct singing in various levels and styles
• Experience working with children, youth and adults
• Strong proficiency in their instrument
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with others
• Up to date Vulnerable Sector Check
