Dirito Brothers Volkswagen is looking for an experienced Volkswagen Automotive Technician to join our service team. We are specifically interested in a skilled flat-rate technician who has previous Volkswagen experience, takes pride in quality repairs and diagnostics, and is looking for a long-term opportunity to grow within a Volkswagen dealership.

Our ideal candidate is currently working within the Volkswagen brand and has their required VW training up to date. However, we are open to experienced Volkswagen technicians whose training may need to be brought current, as well as strong candidates with substantial VW/Audi experience.

For the right technician, this position also offers the opportunity to grow into a Team Lead role following a successful probationary period and demonstrated performance, leadership, and technical ability.

What We’re Looking For

● Previous Volkswagen dealership or significant Volkswagen repair experience

● Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities

● Ability to efficiently perform maintenance, mechanical repairs, recalls, warranty repairs, and complex diagnosis

● Comfortable working in a flat-rate environment

● Current Volkswagen technical training/certifications preferred

● VW training that has recently lapsed will be considered

● Ability and willingness to complete required Volkswagen training

● Strong attention to detail and commitment to fixing vehicles correctly

● Good communication and documentation skills

● Ability to work well with Service Advisors, Parts, management, and fellow technicians

● Positive attitude and willingness to help the shop and team succeed

● Valid driver’s license and clean, professional work habits

Responsibilities

● Diagnose and repair Volkswagen vehicles according to manufacturer standards

● Perform scheduled maintenance, recalls, warranty repairs, and customer-pay repairs

● Accurately document diagnostic findings and repairs performed

● Utilize Volkswagen diagnostic equipment, technical information, and repair procedures

● Complete required Volkswagen training and maintain applicable certifications

● Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and Parts personnel

● Maintain productivity while delivering high-quality workmanship

● Follow dealership and manufacturer safety and repair procedures

● Assist other technicians when appropriate and contribute to a team-oriented shop environment

Preferred Qualifications

● Volkswagen dealership technician experience

● Current Volkswagen training/certification status

● Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic skills

● Experience with newer Volkswagen technology, including EVs, ADAS, and advanced electrical systems

● Prior shop leadership, mentoring, or Team Lead experience is a plus but not required

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
