Volleyball Program Director

Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Volleyball Program Director to lead and elevate our youth volleyball initiatives. We're looking for a partner that's interested in a rev share compensation model to help grow our volleyball program. This dynamic role involves designing engaging training programs, coaching teams, and fostering a positive environment that encourages skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for volleyball, excellent leadership skills, and experience working with children and sports teams. Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive volleyball training curricula tailored to various skill levels and age groups.
• Lead team practices, ensuring proper technique, safety protocols, and fun-filled learning experiences.
• Coach competitive and recreational volleyball teams during matches and tournaments.
• Foster a positive team environment emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and participants about schedules, progress, and program updates.
• Oversee safety procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and injury prevention strategies.
• Coordinate with other sports program staff to integrate cross-training opportunities and special events.

Requirements

• Proven experience in volleyball coaching or program management with a strong understanding of game rules and strategies.
• Prior experience working with children in educational or recreational settings.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in team environments; ability to motivate diverse groups of youth athletes.
• Knowledge of sports-specific training instruction methods for volleyball; familiarity with other sports such as soccer or basketball is a plus.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with participants, parents, staff, and community partners.
• Background in physical education teaching or sports coaching preferred; experience in childcare or youth development is advantageous.
• Ability to manage behavior effectively while maintaining a lively and encouraging atmosphere.
