Volunteer

Be the face and heartbeat of the 5,777 SMILE Global Impact Mission on the ground. As a Mission Trip Facilitator, you will help us sign up volunteers, promote the mission, and execute literacy, awareness and community care programs while spreading hope and transforming futures across the world.

Key Responsibilities

1. Promote & Recruit

• Share the mission on social media, in churches, schools, and community groups

• Have 1:1 conversations to sign up new volunteers for 2026/2027 trips

• Use flyers, videos, and stories to inspire others to Spread hope. Transform futures.

2. Travel & Facilitate Programs

• Travel with the LDF team to assigned country for the mission trip

• Lead and support program delivery: Basic Literacy, Health Education, Life Skills, STEM, Empowerment & Community Care

• Facilitate workshops, reading sessions, and community engagement activities

3. Execute On the Ground

• Coordinate with local partners, schools, and community leaders

• Document the trip: photos, videos, testimonies for awareness

• Ensure volunteers are supported, safe, and aligned with LDF values

4. Post-Trip Impact

• Help follow up with communities and volunteers

• Share impact stories to keep the momentum going

• Passport Ready: Willing and able to travel in 2026. Local volunteers also needed

• Understand that this is not a paid position

• Understand that volunteers pay their own expenses to travel with LDF to volunteer locally or Globally
