Beyond the Wall (beyondthewall.ai) is an interactive historical remembrance platform dedicated to preserving the living legacies of the 58,281 service members on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall using personal letters, military archives, and AI-powered cognitive identities.

The Volunteer Opportunity

Our technology is live, and we are expanding our volunteer team across several departments. We are seeking passionate volunteers, team leads, and administrative contributors to help us scale this national mission. Whether you specialize in operations, legal, finance, history, or community outreach, we have a place for you.

We are currently recruiting volunteer profiles for:

1. Operations & Administration

• Volunteer Coordinators: Onboard new team members, manage scheduling, and keep internal tools (Slack/CRM) organized.

• Event Coordinators: Plan virtual launch events, webinars, and physical community gatherings with local VFW posts.

2. Professional & Legal Services

• Legal & Compliance Advisor: Guide non-profit governance, family consent release forms, and data privacy policies.

• Financial Manager / Accountant: Assist with non-profit record-keeping, donation tracking, and annual filings (Form 990).

• Fundraising & Grant Development Lead: Write foundation grants, manage corporate sponsorship programs, and build donor outreach.

3. History & Community Outreach

• Military Historians & Genealogists: Research National Archives (NARA/Fold3) records to build accurate historical profiles.

• Family Onboarding Liaisons: Conduct warm, empathetic interviews with surviving military families sharing letters and memories.

• Veteran Community Outreach Leads: Connect with local VFW posts, American Legion chapters, and civic groups.

Qualifications
