Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise sports practices, games, and activities across various disciplines such as soccer, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (including karate and judo), and swimming.
• Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to participants of different skill levels, ensuring safety and proper technique.
• Foster an inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior management.
• Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and fellow coaches to provide updates on progress and upcoming events.
• Ensure all activities adhere to safety protocols, including AED operation and first aid/CPR procedures when necessary.
• Assist in organizing events, tournaments, or training sessions to enhance participant engagement.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in safe condition and report any hazards or maintenance needs promptly.

Skills

• Prior experience in sports coaching or physical education instruction is highly desirable.
• Strong background in sports-specific training such as soccer coaching, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (karate or judo), or swimming.
• Demonstrated team leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of children or students.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client (participant/parent) interaction and team coordination.
• Knowledge of health club or gym environments is a plus; experience working with children or students is essential.
• Certification in first aid and CPR; AED operation knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques to promote positive conduct during activities.
• Ability to teach physical education concepts clearly while maintaining a lively, energetic approach that encourages participation.
