VP Distribution Center

Job Details General Summary: Responsible for planning and coordinating all distribution center activities, including ensuring efficient facilities, directing the flow of goods to store locations, and overseeing inventory control. Responsible for developing strategic distribution initiatives such as continuous inventory replenishment, demand estimation and just in time (JIT) inventory control. Duties & Responsibilities: - Develop and drive the implementation of distribution strategies for increased productivity and technology improvements. - Lead the development, implementation and analysis of distribution programs and operations in conjunction with Senior Vice President, Distribution. - Continually monitor effectiveness of distribution center activities and recommend changes when such changes serve the best interest of the company. - Manage the financial planning of distribution and practice tough expense control.
