VP, Infrastructure Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a VP Infrastructure Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Technical Services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $435,200 – $696,300 annually

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term vision for Infrastructure Engineering
• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering organization
• Drive evolution of engineering platforms, focusing on cloud and data infrastructure
• Transform infrastructure for an AI-first future, identifying key opportunities
• Accelerate global infrastructure expansion while ensuring reliability and security
• Align infrastructure investments with company strategy and product priorities
• Champion modern Site Reliability Engineering practices and operational excellence
• Foster a culture of inclusion and technical excellence across the organization

Qualifications

• Significant executive engineering leadership experience in large organizations
• Proven success in scaling Infrastructure or Cloud Platform organizations in modern SaaS businesses
• Experience with globally available systems for millions of users
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture and modern software delivery
• Demonstrated ability to define technical strategy with measurable outcomes
• Strong in developing leadership and fostering high-performing teams
• Excellent communication and cross-functional influencing skills
• Passion for AI in transforming engineering and operations
