Job Description -
We are looking for a dynamic business leader to build and scale the SME lending platform for small-ticket loans (typically up to 10 lakh). The role will own the end-to-end SME lending journeyfrom sourcing and digital funnels to conversion, partnerships, customer experience and portfolio growth.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SME lending/fintech, with a deep understanding of digital acquisition funnels and the ability to build scalable lending businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the P&L/business growth for the small-ticket SME lending platform.

• Build and scale digital SME lending funnels across acquisition, onboarding, underwriting and disbursal.

• Drive improvements in funnel metrics—leads, login, approval, conversion, TAT and disbursals.

• Work closely with Credit, Risk, Technology, Product, Operations and Collections teams to create a seamless lending journey.

• Identify new customer segments, channels and propositions to accelerate SME loan growth through platform

• Use data and customer insights to improve product proposition, pricing, eligibility and conversion.

• Bring in market intel and abreast with market feedback and updates

• Track portfolio performance and work with Risk/Credit teams to ensure sustainable growth and portfolio quality.

• Build and manage a high-performing team across business development, partnerships and platform growth.

Ideal Candidate

• 12–18+ years of experience in SME lending, digital lending or fintech, preferably in a business/P&L leadership role.

• Strong understanding of small-ticket SME lending and digital lending journeys.

• Experience working with or building partnerships with SME-focused fintechs/platforms.

• Strong understanding of acquisition funnels, customer journeys and lending economics.

• Proven track record of scaling a lending business or digital lending platform.

• Strong commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
