Company Description My Body Medical is part of the locally owned My Body Healthcare Group, led by Dentist Dr. Annette Moulton and Director Craig Moulton. Located alongside My Body Dental, My Body Medical is integrated into an established healthcare network, supporting coordinated and continuous patient care. Role Description The VR GP will provide comprehensive primary care services, including consultations, diagnosis, management of acute and chronic conditions, preventative health, and care planning for a diverse patient base. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting face-to-face consultations, reviewing patient histories, ordering and interpreting investigations, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals within the My Body Healthcare network. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation, participating in practice meetings, contributing to quality improvement activities, and supporting a patient-centered approach to care. This is a full-time or part time, on-site role based at My Body Medical in Croydon, VIC, working within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills in Medicine and Primary Care, with demonstrated experience providing evidence-based, holistic patient care.
• Expertise in Family Medicine, including management of chronic disease, preventative health, and care across all life stages.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing and other allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, team-based care.
• Commitment to Training and ongoing professional development, including supervision or mentoring of clinical staff where appropriate.
• Current registration as a VR GP with AHPRA and eligibility for Medicare provider numbers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building long-term, trust-based relationships with patients.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities, including accurate clinical documentation and safe prescribing practices.
• Experience working in community-focused or multidisciplinary clinics is highly regarded.
