VTS Professional Affairs Leader

• Guide pipeline construction from a professional optometry perspective, ensuring alignment with clinical needs and scientific advancements.
• Evaluate and review product mechanisms, principles, and technologies, providing expert input to support product innovation and differentiation.
• Collaborate with T&D (technical & development), marketing, regulatory, training and other cross-functional teams to ensure products meet professional and market expectations.
• Monitor and interpret trends, research, and best practices in optometry and ophthalmology, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for the VTS product pipeline.
• Organize or represent the company in professional forums, conferences, and with key opinion leaders and customers to strengthen the scientific reputation of VTS.
• Provide professional training and guidance to internal teams and external partners as needed.
• Support the development and implementation of clinical studies and evidence generation activities.
• Complete other tasks assigned by superiors. Requirements
• Education: Master’s degree or PhD in ophthalmology or optometry.
• Experience: 5 year working experience in clinical, academic, medical affairs or industry roles related to optometry or ophthalmology. Team leader experience is preferred
• Skills:  Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.  Strong background in Ophthalmology and Optometry science.

 Ability to evaluate scientific and technical information.  Excellent communication and collaboration skills.  Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism.  Good English communication skills, able to use English as a working language.  Good leadership skills.
