[W2] Technology Program Manager – AI / GenAI

About the Role

We are looking for an AI-native Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead large-scale technology programs across multiple engineering teams and platforms.

This role combines strong Technical Program Management expertise with hands-on Generative AI experience . The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with architects, engineering leaders, product teams, business stakeholders, and executives while using AI tools to automate and improve program execution.

What You'll Do

• Lead technology programs from discovery and planning through delivery, launch, and post-go-live transition .
• Own program scope, schedule, milestones, risks, dependencies, financials, vendors, and overall delivery.
• Coordinate across multiple engineering teams, architects, product managers, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Identify and manage technical dependencies, system integrations, architecture dependencies, and delivery risks .
• Partner with architects and engineering leaders to align technical architecture, platform capabilities, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Translate business and technical requirements into executable program plans and milestones.
• Build and maintain Jira program hierarchies , including Epics, Stories, Tasks, owners, dependencies, milestones, and ETAs.
• Manage program governance, RAID logs, dependency trackers, decision logs, dashboards, and executive status reporting.
• Lead cross-functional discussions involving security, legal, compliance, finance, and business process integration .
• Drive stakeholder communication, decision-making, conflict resolution, and operating model adoption.
• Lead launch readiness, go/no-go discussions, and transition to Service/Operations teams.
• Provide executive-level visibility into program health, risks, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.

AI / GenAI Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to use Generative AI and AI agents to improve technology program management.
• Use AI to automate and enhance status reporting, dashboards, Jira backlog management, meeting summaries, documentation, risk analysis, dependency tracking, and program insights .
• Design, prototype, and deploy AI-powered workflows that turn program data into actionable insights.
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve program analysis and execution.
• Use tools such as Atlassian Rovo, Claude, ChatGPT/OpenAI, and Microsoft Copilot in day-to-day program management.
• Build or leverage AI agents and agentic workflows to automate repetitive program management activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience delivering large-scale technology programs across multiple engineering teams.
• Strong Technical Program Management experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Technical understanding of distributed systems, APIs, enterprise integrations, cloud platforms, and system architecture .
• Experience managing cross-team dependencies, technical risks, integrations, and complex delivery challenges.
• Ability to work closely with engineering leaders, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders .
• Strong experience with Jira and Confluence ; familiarity with Lucid/Lucidchart.
• Strong program planning, governance, risk management, dependency management, and executive reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to senior/executive leadership.
• Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools to improve productivity and automate program management activities.
