Wait Staff

Regatta is Takapuna’s waterfront local, reimagined as a modern New Zealand sailing-club bistro. Relaxed, polished and made for long lunches, sunset drinks and busy summer nights, it brings together great food, sharp service and one of Auckland’s best coastal outlooks.

We’re building a team with personality, confidence and genuine hospitality at its core. If you love creating great guest experiences and want to be part of an exciting new chapter for an iconic Takapuna venue, we’d love to hear from you.

Regatta is looking for experienced Wait Staff who know that great service is about more than taking orders. With a minimum of five years' experience in hospitality, you'll be confident creating exceptional dining experiences, building genuine connections with guests, and delivering polished, professional service every shift. You'll have strong food and wine knowledge, with the ability to confidently recommend pairings, guide guests through the menu, and enhance their overall dining experience. From taking orders and serving food and beverages to anticipating customer needs and ensuring every detail is taken care of, you'll take pride in delivering high-end service that keeps guests coming back.

No two services are the same, so you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, stay calm under pressure, and bring a high level of professionalism to every interaction. In return, you'll join a team that values hospitality excellence and is committed to supporting your growth and development.
