Bodega Eatery is a vibrant and much-loved local venue, renowned for delicious food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We're passionate about creating memorable dining experiences for every guest, and as we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Wait Staff/ Barista member to join our front-of-house team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on front-of-house position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while confidently managing all front-of-house duties and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant.

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a busy hospitality environment.
• Experience preparing quality coffee and alcoholic beverages.
• Sound understanding of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act (Duty Manager Certificate is an advantage but not essential).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong initiative, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quality coffee and beverages.
• Serve beer, wine, cocktails, and other drinks responsibly.
• Complete opening and closing duties independently and consistently.
• Welcome and seat guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Present menus and confidently explain food and beverage offerings.
• Take accurate orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently and courteously.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining, service, and bar areas.
• Process payments and cash transactions accurately.
• Restock bar inventory and front-of-house supplies.
