Pay: £12.71 per hour basic pay, plus approximately £3 per hour in tips
Shifts: Evenings and weekends

About Us

Sushi and Salad is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic part-time Waitstaff member to join our team in Saffron Walden.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Take food and drink orders accurately.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
• Prepare tables, clear away and maintain a clean, tidy dining area.
• Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members.
• Respond politely to customer questions and requests.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Help create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure every customer enjoys their visit.

Requirements

• Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
• A friendly, positive and professional attitude.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy restaurant.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
• Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.

What We Offer

• Basic pay of £12.71 per hour.
• Tips averaging approximately £3 per hour extra, depending on tips received.
