Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food, drinks, and cocktails efficiently while maintaining proper beverage service standards including spirits experience and wine knowledge
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash transactions and credit card payments accurately, ensuring proper cash handling and sales transaction processing
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist in food preparation, food handling, and kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy hours

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and sales processing
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
• Ability to upsell beverages, spirits, wine, and menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Familiarity with cocktail preparation, beverage service, and spirits experience for a well-rounded drink service knowledge base
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
