Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and dedicated wait staff to join our vibrant dining team! Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating assistance as a host or hostess when needed
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity for kitchen and bar staff
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, demonstrating cocktail experience and beverage service expertise
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques
• Process cash transactions and credit card payments accurately while handling cash safely and responsibly
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting with food handling and food safety protocols
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, change calculation, and sales reporting
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for guest satisfaction and relationship building
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus but not required
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
