Duties

• Assist servers with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure timely service.
• Support cleaning and sanitation efforts across dining areas, kitchens, and service stations to uphold food safety standards.
• Buss tables efficiently by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and managing guest needs promptly.
• Help with food handling tasks such as portioning ingredients and preparing beverages under supervision.
• Take in-person orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring correct entry and processing.
• Maintain excellent guest relations through friendly communication, attentive service, and prompt response to inquiries.
• Support kitchen staff with basic meal preparation or catering setup when needed, including knife skills and meat cutting.
• Handle cash transactions accurately during order taking or cashiering duties while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Uphold health and safety regulations related to food safety, dishwashing protocols, and dietary accommodations.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, beverage preparation, and basic math for transactions.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
• Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cashiering experience is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting supplies, and cleaning duties.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
• Hospitality or guest services background enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour
