Waiter

The Waiter/Waitress delivers attentive, efficient, and friendly dining service. They act as the primary liaison between customers and the kitchen or bar, ensuring menu accuracy, proper food presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Service & Order Taking
• Greet guests promptly, present menus, and answer questions regarding food, beverages, and daily specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using a Point of Sale (POS) system or order pad.
• Make thoughtful recommendations and handle dietary preferences or allergy requests safely.
• Food & Beverage Delivery
• Serve food and drinks to tables according to standard service protocols and timing.
• Check back with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and replenish drinks or utensils.
• Clear dishes, silverware, and glassware efficiently as courses finish.
• Operations & Table Maintenance
• Set up, clean, and sanitize tables, seating, and side stations before, during, and after shifts.
• Prepare total bills, process cash or card payments, and hand over receipts.
• Assist with light opening, closing, or stocking duties (e.g., refilling condiments, folding napkins).
• Communication & Compliance
• Communicate clear instructions and modifications to kitchen and bar staff.
• Follow all local food safety, health code, and alcohol service regulations.
• Handle minor customer concerns professionally and escalate unresolved issues to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred (entry-level roles may offer on-the-job training).
• Skills: Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and basic math/cash-handling abilities.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–8+ hours) and lift/carry trays weighing up to 20–30 lbs.
• Flexibility: Availability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
