Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Waiter to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, efficient order handling, and expert knowledge of our menu offerings. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive until their departure. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, acting as a welcoming host or hostess.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items including wines, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Process cash and credit transactions efficiently, handling cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting in food handling and preparation when needed.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, offering recommendations, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction throughout their visit.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly with fine dining or hospitality settings.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service protocols.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to engage guests positively.
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Previous experience in roles such as host/hostess or bartender is a plus; culinary experience is also beneficial for understanding menu components.
