Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Waiter to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, knowledgeable beverage and food recommendations, and efficient order processing. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems to ensure smooth seating flow
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for swift transaction processing
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items, including specialty cocktails, wines, spirits, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems, and provide correct change or receipts
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest comfort throughout their visit

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining preferred
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine pairings, and drink presentation
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to boost sales while enhancing guest experience
• Solid understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to build rapport with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
