About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Waiter to join the hospitality team at Riviera Golf Club, Inc. This is a full-time position based in Silang, Cavite. As a Waiter, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our members and guests. You will be responsible for providing attentive, courteous service whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality that our prestigious club is known for. This role is central to creating memorable experiences and upholding the reputation of Riviera Golf Club, Inc.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival at the dining area
• Taking accurate food and beverage orders and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
• Serving food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to proper service techniques and standards
• Ensuring all plates, glasses and cutlery are clean and properly positioned throughout the meal service
• Providing knowledgeable recommendations regarding menu items, wine pairings and specials
• Clearing tables promptly and resetting them for subsequent service
• Handling guest requests and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary
• Maintaining a neat personal appearance and adhering to the club's dress code at all times
• Collaborating with fellow team members to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak periods
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining cleanliness standards in dining and service areas

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a waiter or in a similar dining service role, preferably in a fine dining or upscale hospitality environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele
• Excellent customer service mindset with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, dining etiquette and table setting protocols
• Ability to multitask effectively and work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry items safely
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional, positive attitude
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems is advantageous
