About the role

The Green Room Seminyak is seeking a Waiter to join our dynamic hospitality team in Kuta, Bali. This is a full-time position based on-site, where you will be at the heart of delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Waiter, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable moments for our customers whilst upholding our commitment to outstanding service excellence. Your position is vital to the success of our restaurant operations and directly contributes to guest satisfaction and loyalty.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them at appropriate tables in accordance with our hospitality standards
• Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations about our food and beverage offerings
• Taking accurate food and drink orders from guests and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
• Serving food and beverages in a professional and timely manner, ensuring correct items are delivered to the correct guests
• Attending to guest needs throughout their dining experience, including refilling glasses, clearing plates, and responding promptly to requests
• Maintaining awareness of table status and ensuring smooth transitions between courses
• Processing payments and handling transactions at the end of the meal with accuracy and courtesy
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations
• Collaborating effectively with kitchen staff, bar staff, and fellow waiters to ensure seamless service
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards at all times

What we're looking for

• Prior experience working as waiting staff in a restaurant, café, or hospitality establishment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests from diverse backgrounds
• Excellent customer service orientation with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods whilst carrying trays and attending to multiple tables
• Attention to detail, particularly when taking and fulfilling orders accurately
• A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service practices and table etiquette
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Fluency in English is preferred; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous when serving international guests
• A willingness to learn and adapt to our restaurant's specific procedures and standards
