Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting specials and beverage options to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct for seamless processing
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and sales transactions
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management and organizational skills
• Familiarity with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs effectively
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire; experience with sanitation standards essential
• Previous experience with OpenTable reservations system or similar reservation platforms is a plus
