Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Waiter to join our vibrant restaurant team! Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance the guest experience while increasing sales.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments, and provide correct change.
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to maintain a clean and efficient environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while providing genuine recommendations.
• Previous experience in host/hostess roles or serving in a hospitality setting is highly desirable.
• Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and processing payments accurately.
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus for better coordination with culinary staff.
