Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper drink service etiquette
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing, adhering to cash register procedures
• Upsell menu items and drink options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation enhances ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
• Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures

Pay: $18.70 - $24.00 per hour
