Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process sales transactions efficiently
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through suggestive selling techniques like OpenTable reservations or wine pairing recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, handling food safely, and adhering to food safety regulations
• Manage cash handling accurately while processing payments and giving correct change
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and basic bartending skills
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing time during busy shifts
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or busser is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest experiences through attentive service

Pay: $20.00 - $28.77 per hour
