About the role

Risata Bali Resort & Spa is seeking a professional and dedicated Waiter (DW) to join our hospitality team. This is a full-time position based in Badung, Bali, where you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Waiter, you will be the face of our restaurant and dining facilities, ensuring every guest receives outstanding service that reflects the high standards and warm hospitality Risata Bali Resort & Spa is known for.

What you'll be doing

• Taking food and beverage orders from guests in a professional and courteous manner
• Serving food and drinks to guests with precision and attention to detail
• Maintaining knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to provide knowledgeable recommendations
• Setting and clearing tables according to established standards and protocols
• Ensuring dining areas remain clean, organized and visually appealing throughout service periods
• Responding promptly to guest requests and addressing any concerns with professionalism and grace
• Processing payments and managing cash or card transactions accurately
• Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery
• Adhering to health, safety and hygiene regulations at all times
• Supporting special events and banquets as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working as a waiter or in a similar waitstaff role within a hotel, resort or fine dining establishment
• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Strong communication abilities in English; additional languages are advantageous
• Proficiency in taking orders, serving techniques and basic point-of-sale systems
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining composure
• Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality service
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry serving trays
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• A positive attitude, professional demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond for guests
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards
