Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff for timely preparation.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness throughout the process.
• Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table settings, condiments, and service stations.
• Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure all served items meet health standards.
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks when needed, supporting the culinary team during busy periods.
• Manage time effectively during shifts to serve multiple tables while providing attentive guest services.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly preferred; a passion for guest service is essential.
• Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety regulations, and basic food preparation skills.
• Strong communication skills to clearly relay orders between guests and kitchen staff.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills.
• Experience with kitchen operations or culinary environments is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling standards.
