Waiter

About the role

The Waiter is responsible for providing excellent customer service by ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. This role includes welcoming guests, taking and serving orders, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area, and assisting with restaurant operations while upholding the company's standards for quality, hygiene, and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

• Present menus, answer customer inquiries, and provide menu recommendations when needed.

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen.

• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring accuracy and presentation.

• Monitor guests during their dining experience and respond promptly to requests or concerns.

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and restaurant premises.

• Assist in preparing the dining area before opening and closing procedures after operations.

• Coordinate effectively with the kitchen and other team members to ensure smooth service.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety regulations at all times.

About you

• High school graduate, Senior High School graduate, or College level; a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a restaurant, café, hotel, or food service establishment is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Pleasant personality with a professional appearance.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and overtime when necessary.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Preferably lives in Mandaluyong.
