Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Waiter to join our team. You will be the face of our coffee shop, providing warm and attentive service to all guests. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat customers in a warm and professional manner
• Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and barista team
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently
• Ensure tables are clean, tidy, and properly set throughout the shift
• Handle customer queries, complaints, or special requests with a positive attitude
• Process payments accurately using POS systems
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and service stations
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a waitress/waiter or in a customer service role (preferred)
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and remain calm under pressure
• Reliable, punctual, and well-groomed
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Preferred:

• Familiarity with coffee shop menus and beverage types
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices in food service

Pay: From R34,00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 48.0 per week
