Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards, including cocktail and beverage service.
• Upsell menu items like wines, spirits, or specialty cocktails to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Manage guest relations by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and inventory checks using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms.

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales transactions.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments accurately, and managing sales transactions.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments that require quick thinking and adaptability.
