CHRISTMAS AVAILABILITY IS MANDATORY

We are recruiting for our Christmas trading season. You must be available to work throughout the Christmas period, from Tuesday 1 December 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027, including evenings and weekends. You must also work at least two of these three days: Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve. We cannot consider applications that do not meet both requirements. Every site is closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Maison de Boeuf is our elegant French-inspired restaurant and bar in Cardiff's Castle Arcade, pairing a considered cocktail and wine list with refined, warm hospitality. It's polished and characterful, a room where guests come for both the food and the drinks. A grounded place to develop your craft, look after regulars and work with a team that takes the trade seriously.

Location: 21 Castle Arcade, Cardiff, CF10 1BU
Pay: £12.91 per hour + £3 per hour from the tipjar (on average). 100% of the tipjar goes to the team.
Hours: Full-time and part-time available
Availability: Full availability from 1 December 2026 to 3 January 2027 is mandatory, plus at least two of Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve
Experience: Open to all, full training provided

• Taking orders and serving food and drink to a high standard
• Looking after guests with consistent, attentive service
• Running sections smoothly through busy services
• Taking card payments accurately
• Keeping the floor clean, set and service-ready
• Contributing to the standards and atmosphere of Maison de Boeuf

Who we're after

A reliable, hospitable waiter who takes pride in doing the fundamentals brilliantly and is comfortable with a restaurant's pace and standards. You are strong with guests, calm under pressure and happy to muck in wherever the service needs you, and you are fully available across the Christmas period. Experience is welcome, full training is provided either way.
