Waiter

Job Summary:

As a Waiter at lastapas you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction by providing friendly, attentive, and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
• Take Orders: Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring any dietary restrictions or special requests are noted.
• Serve Food and Beverages: Deliver orders promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met and verifying orders for accuracy.
• Maintain Knowledge of Menu: Stay updated on menu items, daily specials, and ingredients to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Assist with Payments: Process payments accurately, providing change and receipts when necessary.
• Table Management: Clear and reset tables, maintain cleanliness, and ensure tableware is in good condition.
• Guest Interaction: Check in with guests during their meals, address any issues or concerns, and respond to special requests.
• Follow Health and Safety Standards: Adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a waiter or server role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Basic math skills for handling payments and change
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift trays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
