Job Purpose

Waiters at Volto are not just servers – they are storytellers, guides, and part of the guest experience. This role is about delivering service that feels effortless, warm, and personal, ensuring each guest feels welcomed, valued, and connected to the Volto atmosphere.

Role Overview

As a Waiter, you’ll manage your tables with confidence, presenting menus, taking orders, and coordinating with the kitchen and bar to deliver each dish and drink with precision. You’ll anticipate guest needs, upsell with charm, and make sure the service flow stays smooth and enjoyable.

Your role is about presence – from setting tables and checking details to reading guest cues and adjusting your style. Whether it’s recommending a wine pairing, remembering a returning guest’s preference, or simply timing the service perfectly, you are the face of Volto at the table.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with confidence and professionalism.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and communicated.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to deliver orders smoothly and on time.
• Anticipate guest needs, refilling drinks and checking in at appropriate moments.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food, beverages, and pairings.
• Upsell premium items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and reset promptly for new guests.
• Handle guest feedback courteously, escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in your section at all times.
• Support Captain Waiter and Floor Supervisor in supervising overall service flow.
• Follow Volto’s service standards, health, and safety regulations consistently.
• Participate in pre-shift briefings and contribute to team communication and alignment.

Skills & Personality

A Volto Waiter is attentive, approachable, and confident. You should be able to engage with guests naturally, share menu knowledge with enthusiasm, and remain calm during busy service. Your personality should shine through – bringing warmth to the guest’s experience while always keeping it professional.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2+ years of hospitality service experience (fine dining or lounge preferred).
• Knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to upsell effectively.
• Hospitality training or certification (preferred).

Pay: From BD230.000 per month
